Amazing place to visit! Candy for the eyes everywhere. Birds, butterflies, and every plant you can imagine. Casper assisted us in picking out some plants for our home. He was super knowledgeable and helpful. The attached pictures are a before blooms and after a couple weeks of planting. This was my favorite since the blooms look like musical notes. Added this to my list of favorite places go. Go and check them out!

If you’re looking for a plant nursery in South Florida, I recommend Jesse Durko’s Nursery. I’ve added many of their native and some non-native plants to my backyard habitat over the years and have always had a good experience. One of the main reasons I keep going back is Ray. He’s knowledgeable, approachable, and genuinely helpful when it comes to native plants, pollinator gardens, and South Florida landscaping. Whether you’re starting a native garden or just looking for healthy Florida-friendly plants, Jesse Durko’s Nursery is a solid local resource. The plants have been consistently healthy, and the advice I’ve received there has helped my yard become a much better space for birds, butterflies, and bees. Definitely worth checking out if you’re interested in native gardening.

We had a great time! It was our first visit, and for a moment I thought the place might be closed because the house looks abandoned until we spotted the parking area. We were greeted by an older gentleman named Mike (I believe), who was super chill and friendly. The whole venue has a cozy, old-school nursery vibe that I really liked and pretty much feel like I was exploring in there. The pricing felt fair and reasonable, not overpriced at all. My family enjoyed themselves thoroughly, and we’ll definitely be back!

October 2025 - My husband and I visited this nursery again and LOVED IT! Ray helped us out. He is very knowledgeable and just wonderful! We enjoyed shopping there and picked up a few gems to take home. We will definitely be back to visit/shop soon. Thanks again Ray! Omg! We were referred to this nursery by a competitor- which was so nice, because of the plants we were interested in. Visited Ft Lauderdale (From TX) and was able to go to JDN. Ray greeted us shortly after arriving and took us to the ‘special’ area which had some AMAZING plants. Aroids, ! Monsteras, philodendrons, anthuriums amongst others! I didn’t take any pics of the plants inside 😭 but I did take some of the grounds - just beautiful- well worth the visit! He was so kind, patient, knowledgeable and nice experience. We left with some gems and can’t wait to go back. Thank you so from my husband and I Ray. You are really fantastic! Can’t wait to visit again! Take a look at these grounds!

My go to spot for native plants & flowers! Rey is very knowledgable, has always helped us out, & he gives us a very good price! Happy to support this neighborhood nursery. They have sooo many options! You will not be disappointed!! :)
